SEC Player of the Week
Tennessee's Robert Hubbs III

Hubbs III, a 6-foot-5, 207-pound senior guard from Newbern, Tenn., averaged 17.5 points, seven rebounds and 1.5 assists in wins over fourth-ranked Kentucky and Kansas State. Hubbs led the Vols with 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting in the win over Kentucky while adding a team-high seven rebounds to the cause. After Kentucky had whittled the Vols' lead to 68-66 with under four minutes to play, Hubbs scored five points in the last 3:22-none bigger than his turnaround jumper in the lane that restored UT's lead to five with just 1:06 remaining. Against Kansas State, Hubbs scored 10 points and hauled in seven rebounds for the second straight game.

SEC Freshman of the Week
Alabama's Braxton Key

Key, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound forward from Charlotte, N.C., averaged 22.5 points and nine rebounds while shooting 45.8 percent from the floor, 50.0 percent from three and 70.8 percent from the charity stripe in wins at Georgia and against Mississippi State. Key led the charge against Georgia with a career-high 26 points to go along with nine rebounds and a pair of assists. Key followed that performance with a game-high 18 points, along with nine boards vs. Mississippi State on Saturday.
