SEC Offensive Player of the Week - Arkansas forward Anna Podojil, a freshman from Cincinnati, Ohio, leads the Razorbacks with 10 goals this season after netting four goals in Arkansas' two matches last week. The freshman notched a hat trick against Mississippi State on Sunday after scoring a goal at LSU on Thursday. Podojil has recorded a point in 12 of Arkansas' 14 matches this season. The freshman is tied for the league lead with 10 goals and is second in points (24).
SEC Defensive Player of the Week - Texas A&M defender Briana Alston, a senior from Ashburn, Va., took control as the center back with two of the Aggies' starting backs out of action (Jordan Hill and Karlina Sample). She played 200 minutes in the two games last week while anchoring a backline that held opponents to just five shots-on-goal with the lone goal on the week coming on an own goal.
SEC Freshman of the Week - Alabama goalkeeper A.J. Crooks, a freshman from Spokane, Wash., collected six saves at No. 17 Texas A&M, helping Alabama to a 1-1 tie. She also led the Tide to its fourth shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over LSU, which included facing a huge save on an LSU breakaway. In six games, she's collected four wins with three being SEC opponents and two of those being shutout victories.
