Women's Runner of the Week: Taylor Werner, Arkansas
Arkansas' Taylor Werner helped lead her team to a first place finish at the Nuttycombe Invitational with a time of 19:52.50. The senior from Ste. Genevieve, Mo. was never further back than 11th-place, working her way up to third-place at the 4k mark and holding steady to a third place finish. Men's Freshman of the Week: Noel Rotich, Alabama
Alabama's Noel Rotich led the Crimson Tide with an 11th place performance (24:22.1) in the men's 8K at the Princeton Invitational last weekend. It was the top time by an SEC freshman. Rotich helped lead his team to a seventh place finish.
Women's Freshman of the Week: Pamela O'Brien, Florida
Florida's Pamela O'Brien notched her second career top-10 finish, placing in eighth place with a collegiate-best 5k time of 18:00.4 at the FSU Invitational Oct. 11 . O'Brien was one of four Gators to finish in the race's top 10, guiding the Gators to a first-place team finish, as O'Brien tallied her third personal-best performance in a row.
