One of a select few women to letter in two sports at Texas A&M, Andrea Williams guided the Aggies' volleyball team to the NCAA Tournament three times and the women's basketball team to its first NCAA Sweet 16. Williams has been recognized with honors that include the 2017 Shadow League Leadership Award, 2014 SportsBusiness Journal Class of Game Changers (Women in Sports Business) and 2014 CEFMA Event Manager of the Year. Williams serves on a number of national committees including the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Board, John McLendon Minority Scholarship Foundation, NCAA Sexual Assault Prevention Commission and NACDA FCS Athletic Director of the Year Selection committee. Williams was a member of the Big Ten Conference staff for 16 years, including 10 as associate commissioner and the first director of the Big Ten football championship game. Williams served two years as the Commissioner of the Big Sky Conference, and now is the Chief Operating Officer of the College Football Playoff.
