John T. Edge, host of TrueSouth on SEC Network, is teaming up with some friends and colleagues to come to the aid of a popular restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee.
To help Silver Sands Cafe, one of the most beloved restaurants in Nashville, during these difficult times in the coronavirus pandemic, TrueSouth, @cityhousenashville and the @leeinitiative are raising funds.
If you are looking the help out and live in Nashville, buy a Picnic Basket (featuring chef/owner Sophia Vaughn's delicious fried chicken) for pickup at CityHouse on Saturday, May 23. If you live out of town, make a donation through the Lee Initiative via the link above or in the John T. Edge Instagram bio @bluefootentertainment.
Located at 937 Locklayer Street in Nashville, Silver Sands Cafe is a family-owned soul food restaurant that serves some of the best home-made southern-style food in the downtown Nashville area. Popular family recipes have been passed down for three generations and the establishment has been in business for more than 50 years.
