SEC In The NFL Playoffs

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Jan. 8, 2021)-----A total of 219 players from all 14 Southeastern Conference universities are listed on rosters of National Football League playoff teams.

Washington is represented by the most former SEC players with 22 on its roster, followed by Seattle with 21, Baltimore with 20 and Kansas City with 19. Each of the 14 NFL playoff teams includes at least 12 players formerly from SEC schools on its roster.

The SEC led all conferences in 2020 with a total of 63 NFL Draft selections, which was the second most in SEC history. It was the 14th consecutive year in which the SEC led all conferences in number of NFL Draft picks.

The 2021 NFL Playoffs are scheduled to begin this weekend with three games on Saturday followed by three games on Sunday.
