Player of the Week: Will Frizzell, Texas A&M
Texas A&M's Will Frizzell had a five-homer weekend highlighted by Friday's walkoff home run and Sunday's 7th-inning, game-winning grand slam to lift the Aggies to a series win over No. 11 Ole Miss. Frizzell registered seven extra-base hits over four games last week, including two doubles and five home runs, while tallying eight runs and 11 RBI over the span. In the series opener against Ole Miss, he racked up a two-home run night, one of which was a solo shot to walk it off in the ninth, to go along with three runs, three RBI and a walk. In the series finale, Frizzell accounted for all six of the Aggies' runs, with a two-run home run in the first inning and a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh inning.

Pitcher of the Week: Christian MacLeod, Mississippi State
Mississippi State's Christian MacLeod worked through the potent South Carolina order by allowing just one batter to reach second base over his seven scoreless innings of work. The outing was the longest of his career and he allowed base runners in just two innings in the Bulldogs' series-opening win. He retired the first seven batters he faced, before sitting down the final 11 South Carolina hitters of his outing. MacLeod struck out six to earn his fourth victory of the season. He was also efficient in his outing, throwing just 89 pitches.

Newcomer of the Week: Drew Gilbert, Tennessee
Tennessee's Drew Gilbert had another impressive series for the Vols, leading the team with nine hits, five runs and six RBI while batting .600 for the weekend in the sweep at Missouri. Gilbert had multiple hits in all three games against the Tigers. In Sunday's series finale, he tied a career high with four hits, scored two runs and had two RBI. In Saturday's series-clinching win, Gilbert finished with three hits and four RBI while setting a career high with two doubles and tying a career high with three runs scored. He went 2-for-5 with a double in Friday's series-opening win.

Freshman of the Week: Tre' Morgan, LSU
LSU's Tre' Morgan helped lead the Tigers to three wins in four games last week, including an SEC series victory at Auburn. Morgan, the Tigers' lead-off hitter, batted .529 (9-for-17) in four games with one double, one triple, one homer, three RBI, six runs scored, two stolen bases and a .556 on-base percentage. In LSU's series win at Auburn, Morgan hit .538 (7-for-13) with one triple, one homer, three RBI, four runs, one stolen base and a .571 on-base percentage. His two-out, two-run triple in the top of the eighth inning on Thursday night at Auburn extended LSU's from 5-3 to 7-3 in an eventual 8-3 win.
