Co-Player of the Week: Andrew Eyster, South Carolina

South Carolina's Andrew Eyster went 8-for-12 with four runs scored, four walks and nine RBI in the three-game road sweep of Kentucky this past weekend. He had a grand slam and drove in five, going a perfect 3-for-3 in the 9-0 win on Saturday. Then on Sunday, Eyster drove in four runs, going 4-for-5 with a double and a run scored in the 11-6 victory. Eyster had a .591 on-base percentage and a .750 slugging percentage on the week.

Co-Player of the Week: Gavin Dugas, LSU

LSU's Gavin Dugas helped lead the Tigers to three wins in four games last week, including an SEC series victory over Alabama. Dugas batted .429 in four games with one double, two homers, eight RBI, five runs scored and a .526 on-base percentage. In LSU's series win versus Alabama, Dugas had a two-home run game to go along with a double, four runs scored, one stolen base and a .429 on-base percentage.

Co-Pitcher of the Week: Brett Kerry, South Carolina

South Carolina's Brett Kerry on Saturday pitched a complete-game shutout with a 10-strikeout, no-walk performance against Kentucky. In his first start of 2021, Kerry scattered four hits in the win and allowed just one runner to reach second base or further. He threw 94 pitches in the win, 67 for strikes, and had just three three-ball counts in the game.

Co-Pitcher of the Week: Kevin Kopps, Arkansas

Arkansas' Kevin Kopps recorded two wins in relief to help No. 1 Arkansas take the series against No. 4 Tennessee. The right-hander pitched 6 2/3 innings over two games, striking out six while allowing only one run. In the series opener, Kopps twirled three scoreless innings of relief and struck out a pair to secure Arkansas' 8-7 comeback win. He back in Sunday's series finale and locked down the final 3 2/3 innings of the ballgame, striking out four more and earning his ninth victory of the season while leading the top-ranked Razorbacks to their ninth consecutive SEC series win.

Newcomer of the Week: Jack Leiter, Vanderbilt

Vanderbilt's Jack Leiter picked up his eighth win of the season with 6.0 innings of one-run baseball at No. 18 Ole Miss. He racked up 13 strikeouts, marking the seventh time this season he's recorded double-digit punchouts. Leiter struck out more than half of the batters he faced on the afternoon and notched his sixth quality start of SEC play.

Freshman of the Week: Jacob Gonzalez, Ole Miss

Ole Miss' Jacob Gonzalez started his week with a 4-for-5 performance in the midweek with two runs scored, a home run and three RBI and then led the Rebels to a series win against No. 2 Vanderbilt. In the series-clinching victory on Sunday, Gonzalez went 3-for-3 with two home runs, three runs scored, four RBI and two walks, reaching in all five of his plate appearances. It was his first career multi-homer game.
