Her goal against Texas A&M in overtime gave the Hogs their seventh straight victory. Her brace against Ole Miss, her second of the season, helped Arkansas stay undefeated in conference play. She put pressure on both teams, with 7 shots, 5 of them on goal.
SEC Defensive Player of the Week - South Carolina defender Jyllissa Harris, a senior from Hazlet, N.J., played all 90 minutes in both matches, anchoring a backline that allowed just four shots on goal for the week. She also scored her third goal of the season in the win over Kentucky. Harris' goal opened the scoring for the Gamecocks in their 2-1 victory with a header off a corner kick. She and the Gamecock defense didn't allow a goal in the run of play, the only goal for the week was conceded on a penalty kick against UK. Harris and the Gamecocks held both Vanderbilt (1) and Kentucky (3) to their fewest shots on goal of the season.
SEC Freshman of the Week - Tennessee midfielder Taylor Huff, a freshman from Mansfield, Ohio, scored in the 86th minute to force overtime against No. 11 Auburn. The Vols went on to win in the second overtime. She then logged an assist on UT's first goal at Missouri, playing 78 minutes in the 2-1 double-overtime win.
