OFFENSIVE
Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
- The sophomore quarterback was devastating efficient once again in a 52-24 victory over Tennessee
- Threw for a career-high 371 yards and two touchdowns
- Gained another 56 yards with two touchdowns on eight carries
- Accounted for four touchdowns for the second straight game
- Completed 72.1 percent of his passes (31-43)
- Was 9-of-13 passing on third down for 194 yards and a touchdown
- Converted 12 first downs for the game with eight through the air & four rushing (2 rushing TD on 3rd down)
- Guided an offense that converted 15-of-20 first downs (75%)
DEFENSIVE
Chance Campbell, LB, Ole Miss
- Totaled 10 tackles, a forced fumble and a sack in leading Ole Miss past LSU.
- Led a Rebel defense that limited the Tigers to just 77 rushing yards.
- Helped Ole Miss force a season-high three turnovers.
- After LSU scored on its opening drive, the Rebel D kept the Tigers off the scoreboard until 7:28 left in the game.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Ainias Smith, PR, Texas A&M
- The junior return man took the first punt from South Carolina 95 yards for a punt return touchdown to stake the Aggies to an early 7-0 lead.
- Smith also caught two passes for 28 yards.
DEFENSIVE LINE
Sam Williams, DL, Ole Miss
- Totaled a forced fumble, sack and QB pressure in leading Ole Miss past LSU.
- Led a Rebel defense that limited the Tigers to just 77 rushing yards.
- Helped Ole Miss force a season-high three turnovers.
- After LSU scored on its opening drive, the Rebel D kept the Tigers off the scoreboard until 7:28 left in the game.
Tyree Johnson, DL, Texas A&M
- The senior from Washington, DC, had two tackles and both were quarterback sacks for losses of 11 yards.
- The Aggie defense allowed only 15 net yards on 31 plays from scrimmage through three quarters against South Carolina.
OFFENSIVE LINE
Kenyon Green, OL, Texas A&M
- The returning All-American offensive lineman remained at left guard this week against South Carolina.
- The offensive line plowed the way for 290 net yards rushing with Devon Achane gaining 154 and Isaiah Spiller gaining 102 net yards. This marked the second consecutive week for the offensive line to provide two 100-yard rushers.
- The offensive line did not allow a quarterback sack on 24 pass attempts.
Charles Cross, LT, Mississippi State
- Led the team with an 80.6 offensive grade per PFF.
- Added an 83.2 run block grade and 78.1 pass block grade per PFF.
- Was not penalized and did not allow a sack in 81 snaps, including 66 in pass pro.
- Helped MSU rack up 524 yards of total offense and 29 first downs.
- Provided time for MSU to pass for 463 yards (fourth most in school history).
- Helped MSU possess the ball for 39-plus minutes, a best under Mike Leach.
- Blocked for MSU to complete 47 passes to 13 different receivers.
FRESHMAN
RaRa Thomas, WR, Mississippi State
- Caught a career-high five passes on six targets, surpassing his career total, for a career-high 52 yards.
- Scored his first career touchdown and added a career-long 28-yard reception.
- Averaged 10.4 yards per catch.
