SEC Co-Players of the Week - Kentucky's Erin Coffel, a sophomore shortstop from Bremen, Ind., hit .667 with eight hits (three home runs), 10 RBI and three runs scored in the win over Louisville and the series at No. 7/6 Arkansas. Coffel posted a .700 batting average against the Razorbacks and two home runs in UK's win on Saturday.
Tennessee's Ivy Davis, a graduate student shortstop from Huntington Beach, Calif., posted a team-high .714 batting average in the win at Western Carolina and the series sweep over Texas A&M. Davis registered a double and a game-tying single in game one against the Aggies, two RBI in game two and reached base three times Monday night with two HBP and a walk.
SEC Pitcher of the Week - Alabama's Montana Fouts, a senior right-hander from Grayson, Ky., went 3-0 against Mississippi State last weekend. Fouts allowed just one run over 14.1 innings pitched for a 0.49 ERA and tallied 23 strikeouts. She pitched a pair of complete-game victories, posting double-digit strikeouts in each outing. Fouts secured the series sweep with a complete-game shutout on Saturday, her fourth solo shutout of the season.
SEC Freshman of the Week - Auburn's Bri Ellis, a first baseman from Houston, Texas, batted .857 with six hits, five runs scored and seven RBI in a 3-0 week for the Tigers. Ellis recorded a team-high 2.143 slugging percentage and an .889 on-base percentage in wins over Mercer and Niagara. With a home run in each game, she has recorded a home run in four consecutive games.
