SEC Player of the Week 

 Santiago Vescovi, Tennessee

Vescovi, a 6-foot-3, 192-pound senior from Montevideo, Uruguay, averaged 13.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and, 3.3 steals in wins over Butler, Southern California, and No. 3 Kansas. He was named MVP of the Battle4Atlantis tournament after scoring a game-high 20 points with five made threes while also pulling down six rebounds in the championship game victory over Kansas. Had a game-high five assists with seven points and four rebounds while also hitting the go-ahead 3-pointer in overtime during the win over USC.

SEC Co-Freshmen of the Week 

 Anthony Black, Arkansas

Black, a 6-foot-7, 198-pound freshman from Duncanville, Texas, averaged 22.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists against Louisville, No. 10 Creighton, and No. 17 San Diego State in the Maui Invitational. He was named to the all-tournament team after posting back-to-back 26-points games to open the tournament.

 Amaree Abram, Ole Miss

Abram, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound freshman from Port Arthur, Texas, averaged 20.7 points, 3.3 assists, and 3.0 rebounds against Stanford, Siena and Oklahoma at ESPN Events Invitational. He accounted for nearly a third (30.1 percent) of the Rebels scoring in the tournament while shooting 64.1 percent overall (25-of-39), 75.0 percent from 3-point range (6-of-8), and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line.
