Player of the Week
Bri Ellis, Auburn
Ellis, a sophomore first baseman from Houston, Texas, was named to the Plainsman Invite All-Tournament Team after posting a .714 batting average with 10 hits, seven runs scored and 11 RBI. Ellis recorded four home runs, moving to 12th place in program history with 25 career home runs. She held a .778 on-base percentage and a 1.786 slugging percentage on the week. Ellis also turned in a perfect fielding percentage behind 31 putouts.
Co-Pitchers of the Week
Chenise Delce, Arkansas
Delce, a redshirt senior right-hander from Oklahoma City, Okla., collected four wins in the circle at the Razorback Invitational, including a pair of wins over No. 13/19 Arizona. Delce allowed just two runs in 18.1 innings, held her opponents to a .127 batting average and fanned 25 batters.
Madison Kerpics, Georgia
Kerpics, a junior right-hander from Suwanee, Ga., went 3-0 in the circle and did not allow a run in 19 innings of work this past weekend. Kerpics held her opponents to a .111 batting average and handed out 18 strikeouts. Her efforts in the Georgia Classic helped the Georgia pitching staff to register five shutouts on the weekend, the first time since 2019.
Freshmen of the Week
Karlyn Pickens, Tennessee
Pickens, a right-handed pitcher from Weaverville, N.C., recorded a complete-game shutout in the win over No. 5 Clemson at the USF Invitational. Pickens fanned eight batters and held Clemson to its fewest hits of the season (4). She did not allow a walk or an extra base hit. It was Pickens' second win of the season along with her second complete game and second shutout.
