21 Former SEC Players on 2023 WNBA Opening Day Rosters

Birmingham, Ala. -- The WNBA opens the 2023 season today and 21 former SEC stars made WNBA opening day rosters.

South Carolina leads all SEC teams with eight former players; Tennessee has five; LSU, Mississippi State has two; while Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Missouri and Texas A&M have one each.

Eleven WNBA teams have at least one former SEC player on their opening day roster.
