Kentucky's Sheppard named USBWA National Freshman of the Year

For the third time in program history, the nation’s best freshman is a Kentucky Wildcat. UK guard Reed Sheppard was tabbed the United States Basketball Writers Association Wayman Tisdale National Freshman of the Year on Monday.
