Rules are rules. For all the sound and fury in the top of the 10th inning in Saturday's first SEC Tournament semifinal, the umpires made a call that was "100 percent by the rulebook" on an obscure play that ultimately had no impact on the outcome of one of the most memorable games in tournament history.
