Alabama softball head coach Patrick Murphy joined a rare club Tuesday night, earning his 1,300th career win at the helm of the Crimson Tide in dramatic, come-from-behind fashion against in-state foe North Alabama. With the milestone, Murphy becomes just the seventh coach in NCAA Division I softball history to tally 1,300 wins at a single program – and the first to do so entirely within the Southeastern Conference.
